The F.A.I.T.H. Project unites Christian beliefs with widely accepted, time-tested trauma-informed models from mental health, medicine, and domestic violence. It draws its strength from both faith and science.
Seven steps to transform trauma into spiritual health and healing in your faith community
The seven steps start with each of the 6 vowels (A, E, I , O , U, and Y) plus Rest.
Each step contains many resources to facilitate your church in becoming trauma-informed including personal narrative, trauma statistics, trauma insights, Bible study, worship music, PowerPoint presentations, sermon outlines, templates for making community connections, trauma-informed policies and procedures, and links to additional helpful resources.
Each step has three parts which focus on accomplishing the 3 F.A.I.T.H. Project Goals
we educate about trauma
we promote spiritual growth
we strengthen our church
